July 23rd, 2012 by Kara Tiernan ? No Comments ? Concord, Condos, Escala
I?ve seen a recent trend in big ticket homes over $500,000 selling more and more as we get into the thick of summer, (or lack there of). Last week along with the unfortunate horrific shooting in Colorado we had 36 sales here in the surrounding Seattle area, with quite a few very interesting town homes and condos. A few that are worth checking out that I didn?t get to cover today include another unit at the Vine in Belltown, a 1bedroom at the Concord, and just or authenticity sake, this Spanish inspired unit in Eastlake.
1920 4th Ave #1412
Two units at the Escala sold last week, the other being a corner unit #2408 for nearly $1mil. This 1 bedroom 1.5 bath unit features a very large master, with a fairly large deck accessible from the bedroom and living area. I love the pedini wood cabinetry in this building and the decorative granite counter tops in the kitchen. The skyline views from the building are obviously included in the price tag, as it appears you might even get an exceptional view from the porcelain bath tub.
4547 8th Ave NE #404
It?s almost time for school to start, and I find that the Duncan Place Condominiums would be ideal for graduate students and professors looking to keep their distance from the noisy streets of campus living. This particular 1 bed 1 bath unit sold for an affordable $244,000, and has exceptional natural light in the majority of rooms because of the lovely nearly floor to ceiling windows throughout.
These units have all new state of the art stainless steel appliances, and beautiful cheery hardwood flooring in the kitchen. Each unit has a secured parking spot and ample storage space. Check out the granite counter topped island in the kitchen, could be perfect for making apps before heading over to the building?s roof top deck or private home owner?s lounge for neighbor mixers.
2600 2nd Ave #1102
This 2 bed 2 full bath 11th floor corner unit at Seattle Heights sold last week for $370,000, with an estimated value of $402,401. I think each and every room in this unit has character, with that fabulous stained wood flooring, the peak a boo bar in the kitchen, and beautiful city views, (see the space needle carefully captured in one of the bedroom shots. Seattle Heights quite the amenity package as well, with secured garage parking, a pool & sauna and 24 hour concierge service, should you need to call someone up to show off your new space.
